My responsibilities entail managing our digital assets such as virtual events, email/text marketing, social media, CRM management, podcast production, webmaster, digital content, IT implementation, and user experience design (UX) for VisionRefer.org. I also coordinate our policy and advocacy work with the Aging and Vision Loss National Coalition (AVLNC), the National Policy Collaborative (NPC), and other policy initiatives.
From my experiences in the nonprofit field, I have learned to deliver effective, creative marketing while being budget-conscious. I believe in infusing creativity, passion, and humor into every project. Creating content with personality and inspiration creates a unique form of communication in an online landscape overpopulated with companies competing for your attention. Every bit of engagement from customers must be earned with new and adapting content.
