Tools to Help Advance DEIA in Your Agency

We support best practices in leadership by providing resources to enhance diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility and cultural competency throughout the field of blindness and low vision.

In the spirit of Helen Keller’s words, “We live by each other and for each other. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much,” VisionServe Alliance believes in honoring the inherent worth of all people, their multiple perspectives, and life experiences to help create inclusive cultures which empower all of us to connect, belong, and grow.

The VisionServe Alliance IDEAL committee offered a webinar where six leaders in our field shared how they have implemented DEIA initiatives to embed the values and practices of inclusion into the daily work at their agencies. The Webinar is also be an opportunity to learn about additional resources made available from VisionServe to continue learning well beyond the panel discussion. Whether you have been working in the inclusion space for a long time, are newer to the work, or even unclear on where to begin, we warmly welcome you to be a part of the conversation.
