In partnership with NIB and NAEPB, the 2024 Compensation & Benefits Survey is now open. The survey is ready for organizations serving people who are blind and visually impaired to complete.
Ours is the only survey specific for organizations serving people who are blind or visually impaired. By participating, you will contribute to the comprehensive survey results. Results will help you to make key hiring and employment decisions. Data is crucial during these difficult economic times and through this survey, you will have access to information that can be used to save money on salary and benefits costs.
Tracking Data over Time
Moreover, by participating in this seventh survey (previous surveys were in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022), you are helping to establish important trend data. Over time the data will show changes in salaries, staffing levels, benefits costs, and more.
Additionally, the survey is accessible to JAWS. We suggest forwarding the survey link to an HR manager to complete due to the length of the survey and details required.

Your online response will be submitted directly to Nonprofit Compensation Associates Inc, our survey consultant. The survey website uses advanced encryption technology. Data is safe both while it is being submitted and while stored in the survey database. Furthermore, data is held in strictest confidence and is reviewed only by the survey consultant. Results will be reported in the aggregate so that no survey information can be traced to any particular organization.
Submit your data by Monday,June 3, 2024, and you can receive a copy of the final report in July. The costof the report is:
• Free for members of VSA, NIBand/or NAEPB who fill out the survey
• $300 for members of VSA, NIBand/or NAEPB who not fill out the survey
• $600 for non-members. If you fill out the survey and you are not a member of VSA, NIB and/or NAEPB, you will be sent an invoice before you receive your final report.
