2025 Leadership Conference
Registration is now Open for VisionServe Alliance’s 2025 Leadership Conference
The “Adapt and Thrive: Igniting Change in a Dynamic World” 2025 Leadership Conference will be held at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Paradise in Scottsdale, Arizona, from April 28 – May 1, 2025. Join leaders and their teams for this interactive conference that builds on the tremendous success of our 2024 Open Space Conference. Hundreds of thought leaders will come together to address the most pressing issues facing our field and the Blindness and Low Vision Community.
To help organizations thrive during periods of uncertainty, Colin McLetchie, President of Five Ways Forward, will lead an extended Keynote experience, highlighting the Leadership Circle’s Four Quadrants of Change. Sessions will help leaders and their teams make the shifts necessary to capitalize on change to strengthen and advance their organizations.
The conference offers two dynamic session tracks. Choose from our: Strategic Discussion Group Track that cultivates deep discussion. Each of our six Strategic Discussion Groups will explore one of these crucial industry topics—Future of Vision Rehabilitation–A Funding & Healthcare Debate; Innovative Advocacy for Accessible Public Transportation; Leveraging Evidence–Based Research & Data; The Aging and Vision Loss Revolution; Unlocking Educational Success–Early Childhood through College & Employment; and A Holistic Approach to Vision Rehabilitation—with five hours of breakout sessions for meaningful discussions led by trained facilitators. Groups will also brainstorm solutions and create an action plan to present at the closing session—and to help advance our field and the Blindness and Low Vision Community post-conference. OR enjoy the Traditional conference Presentation Sessions Track with insightful presentations by industry experts on these same topics.
Our conference includes a Welcome Reception, Dinner at the Musical Instrument Museum, Annual Awards Ceremony, and vital industry networking. You can also sign up for a tour of the Foundation for Blind Children, a member that serves over 2,000 people of all ages.

“Each time I attend, I gain knowledge and insight from leaders in our field, which ultimately will allow Xavier Society to better serve our patrons. As important, this collective of organizations is working as one, to educate the many stakeholders in our field, and influence policy and legislation for the benefit of blind and visually impaired people in the U.S. and Canada. It is always an honor to represent Xavier Society and our patrons at this event, and to be a member of this organization.”
Malachy Fallon, Executive Director Xavier Society for the Blind
“If someone is new to VisionServe Alliance conferences, I would tell them, expect robust conversation, expect a lot of learning opportunities, and expect to meet visionaries in the field, transformative folk who are making a difference in this space. What I enjoy most about VSA conferences is the networking opportunities. We have great opportunities to talk to other folks in our field who are doing great work. We can learn from each other and also help each other where there are challenges.”
Dee Budgewater, President & CEO, Lighthouse Louisiana
“I appreciated attending conference sessions on leadership development, including practical applications such as creating a culture that fosters innovation; a session on the importance of research to gather data on those we serve to help demonstrate where we can have impact; and tips for effective advocacy and influencing public policy. The networking opportunities helped me connect with CEOs new to the field and I brought ideas and resources back to my organization that will help propel us forward.”
George Abbott, President and CEO The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc.
