High performing boards do not happen organically. They become so through the intentional and skillful guidance of the CEO and the Board Chair. The CEO is in a unique position to help develop a high-performing board through education, modeling, and demonstrating outstanding leadership. In this session, participants will learn about structuring their board for success; recruiting and retaining talented and diverse individuals; approaches that foster board engagement and build rapport; designing meetings that educate, inform, and ensure effective and efficient business activity; and finally, creating a pipeline, and continuity for board leadership.
