VisionServe Alliance Honors Nancy D. Miller with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award – Building Consensus, Breaking Barriers, and Changing Lives

VisionServe Alliance is thrilled to recognize Nancy D. Miller, Retiring Executive Director and CEO, Visions/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired, for her exceptional leadership in the BVI field, and a career defined by creativity, commitment, and dedication to improving the lives of people with blindness and low vision.

For more than 50 years, Nancy D. Miller has worked tirelessly to improve health and quality of life for people with vision loss. Serving as Executive Director/CEO of VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired for three decades, she continually expanded programs and services. She advocates for increased awareness and funding of vision rehabilitation through a broad range of partnerships and collaborations with state officials and lawmakers, and through her work as Co-Chair of Public Awareness for the Aging and Vision Loss National Coalition.

“Nancy’s leadership has positively impacted countless lives at the local, regional, and national level. Her dedication to older adults living with blindness and other visual impairments, and her work on behalf of blind caregivers inspires us all.
