VisionServe Alliance Announced the Winner of its two Annual Awards – the Roxann Mayros Champion Award and Excellence in Leadership Award – at our 2023 CEO Summit

VSA 2023 Annual Awards were Presented at the CEO Summit

The Roxann Mayros Champion Award was given to Teri Shirk, CEO of Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The Board of Directors of VisionServe Alliance created the Roxann Mayros Champion Award in 2019 to highlight the Roxann’s legacy of service to the blindness and low vision field.

Lauren Branch, CEO of NewView Oklahoma, received the Excellence in Leadership Award bestowed upon leaders in the blind and low vision community making an impact at a national level through relentless commitment, exceptional leadership, and an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, innovation, and collaboration.


2023 CEO Summit Conference Scholarship Winners

VSA also announced eight 2023 CEO Summit Conference Scholarship Winners who received an award to underwrite conference registration and/or travel reimbursement:

  • Tim Tuthill – Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired Michigan
