VisionServe Alliance Honors Anisio Correia
with the 2026 Cathy Holden Excellence in Managerial Leadership Award

VisionServe Alliance is honored to recognize Anisio Correia for his tireless commitment to improving the lives of older people living with blindness or low vision.
The Cathy Holden Award honors a senior team member of a VisionServe Alliance member organization who has made an impact on, contribution to, or led staff in the pursuit of organizational excellence.
At Lighthouse Central Florida, Anisio Correia is leading the development and implementation of a much-needed low vision clinic from concept to operation. This ambitious project demanded a seasoned, enterprise-level approach, integrating medical-based low vision services into an established rehabilitation model, which Mr. Correia brought, through his years as an activator in the field of vision rehabilitation.
“Anisio exemplifies the essence of this award and embodies the legacy of Cathy Holden with his sustained, high-level managerial leadership paired with meaningful, field-shaping results,” said Lee Nasehi, President and CEO of VisionServe Alliance. “His leadership on this project at Lighthouse Central Florida and throughout his long career reflects both extensive expertise in low vision services and the unique ability to translate vision into reality.”

The Cathy Holden Excellence in Managerial Leadership Awards will be commemorated during the Annual Awards Luncheon, hosted on May 29, 2026, at the Envision and VisionServe Alliance 2026 Conference in Columbus, OH.
