Administrative Services Manager will work under the direction of the Executive
Director. The primary function will be to initiate, monitor, and evaluate clients’ progress in attaining assessed needs and goals. The Administrative Services Manager will also work with the Director in assuring that all operations of the organization run smoothly and efficiently. Following all rules, regulations, and procedures as set forth in policy manual as well as contracted guidelines.
Responsibilities
● Determine client’s needs by completing intake interviews.
● Establish client services by completing referrals to appropriate resources.
● Coordinate services by assigning clients to appropriate trainer and arranging
resources.
● Monitor cases by: verifying clients’ attendance, observing and evaluating
progress, advocating for needed services, obtaining additional resources, and
providing personal support.
● Maintain clients’ records by reviewing case notes, logs, and progress reports.
● Substitute for absent trainers.
● Improve staff competence by providing information on updates, new resources,
and training opportunities.
● Assists in the search and application process of new funding sources.
● Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading
professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participate in meetings
with community organizations.
● Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add
value to job accomplishments.
● Manage matters relating to administration and efficient functioning of the
organization, including the selection of volunteers and hiring of employees.
● Ensure the obligations of the organization are adequately fulfilled on time.
● Coordinate informational events.
● Maintain community relations and outreach.
● Act as the liaison to community sources concerning center’s services.
● Work with other agencies and individuals to promote the goals of the
organization and its clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
● Strong verbal and written skills.
● Computer literacy.
● Understanding the strengths and needs of a person with a disability, in particular
persons with a visual impairment.
Preferred Qualifications
● Program management experience.
● Demonstrate ability to coordinate the supervision of staff and volunteers.
● Knowledge of community organizations.
● Basic understanding of financial transactions and/or the development of budgets
and financial accounting.
● Bilingual preferred.
Salary: Starting salary $24.00 – $28.00, based on experience
